Vacation Club

Terrible (1.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on September 5, 2012

Hotel is ok but do not join the vacation club. I joined a few years back. All of my fees are paid. All of my Interval International dues are up to date and the hotel is refusing to honor my contract. Interval International should kick them out. It turns out that the hotel has to provide Int International with a reservation number before a trade can be accomplished. At first I thought that the hotel did not understand the procedure because of the language difference. So, I tried to book at Amapola using the club and the hotel still won't honor the contract. They still owe me twenty vacation weeks. What a scam...

Unique Quality: Hotel, itself is not bad.

Jaco beach is great but I joined the vacation club at Amapola for a few thousand dollars. Now they are refusing to honor the contract. The hotel stole my money. So, be warned. If they offer you a membership to their vacation club, buyer beware!

There was something for everyone at this hotel. There were a few card tables and the slots for people that cared to place a wager.

They call it a disco but there is definately a latin rhythm ( thank goodness). For young adults and dancers.

We usually try to pick a place that is a little more quaint but this was too good to pass up. $100 per room per night plus three meals a day from a great kitchen with a dessert chef and all your drinks. Sign us up.
