Budget Honeymoon Suite

My second visit to Luna Llena was even better! Bright and clean and quiet as always, we stayed in the bungalow (on the south side of the property)- could be perfect for couple! The entire bungalow has wrap around windows that open up and afford the most spectacular views of the ocean and jungle below. There is a private terrace only accessed by the bungalow!

Pristine private cabins overlooking the ocean

This is a great spot to stay in Montezuma. On the hill, there are several cabins (singles, doubles, triples and quads)- extremely clean, blue-tiled floors, artsy lamps, fans and mosquito nets in all the rooms. There are several kitchens shared between several cabins with coffee makers, fridge and freezer, gas stoves (be careful!), dishes and cookware. Bathrooms are also shared but are extremely clean and the water is HOT HOT HOT! The property is owned by a German woman and her teenage son often looks after the guests- they make sure rooms, bathrooms and kitchens are cleaned daily. The very top floor is their private residence so make sure you only go up there when checking in or paying. There is a nice area for chilling, drinking and eating.
Current low season rates are $15 for a single or $25 for a cabin with 4 beds.

Unique Quality: Beautiful views of the ocean from the property and you can see and hear the monkeys that play in the trees that dot the area.
Also a great place to meet fellow travellers- close enough that you are a few minutes from downtown but far enough that you can get some peace and quiet when you desire it.
