At high tide it is surrounded by water on 3 sides.
At low tide there is mud flats on 3 sides of the lodge.
The birds gather at that time and dig to see what they can find.

View from patio or balcony out over the flats or mangroves.
You will see many birds and crocodiles.

Delicious meals are served featuring fresh seafood, tropical fruits, vegetables and exotic fruit drinks. A 3 day minimum stay is required if Tarcol Lodge provides the transportation. A stay of a week or more may be split between Tarcol Lodge and Rancho Naturalista.
