Faded pink
An old Victorian mansion with 31 rooms (mostly internal) and with varying quality from suites with jacuzzis to squalid little damp holes with practically no natural light.
As somewhere to stopover when arriving in or leaving Costa Rica I would recommend trying one of the large international chains rather than a local city centre hotel.
Worst breakfast of our entire trip to Costa Rica.
Unique Quality: Staff very charming and helpful... room changes when accommodation unacceptable was no problem.
No air-con so rooms typically 26c through the night.
