Holiday Inn San Jose Aurola: Adventure Inn in Costa Rica    Check Rates

    • We recently went to Costa Rica and used the Adventure Inn for our hotel near the airport. It was very conveniently located only about 15 minutes from the airport. That was very nice for arriving and leaving San Jose. The receptionist were extremely nice and helpful with all of my tours, questions and accomodations. The meals were very good also, breakfast is included with the room rate. We also had some nice dinners at the restaurant. The hotel was very clean and has very nice size rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Costa Rica.

    The internet service is a great accomodation. They have four computers for their guest use.

    • I spent two nights at this high rise hotel in the center of San Jose, and I truly enjoyed my stay. They kicked me up to the executive floor at no extra charge, and the views of the surrounding mountains were fantastic. Everything worked well at this hotel, unlike other hotels I have stayed at in San Jose. The air-conditioning, water pressure, service were all top notch for this city. I do recommend this Holiday Inn if you can get a good price on the room.

    There is a pool, but I would not call it fancy or plush. The best thing about this hotel is its efficiency.

    We stayed at the Holiday Inn for a reasonably modest $40 per person per night double occupancy. If it wasn't for the price, I would have to say that this was a disappointment for a Holiday Inn. The check-in service was very disorganized and untimely, and the hotel itself can use a bit of an update. I expected a little more for a hotel in a downtown area, even if it was San Jose, Cost Rica.

    But nonetheless, it was in a great location and right in the center of where you want to be for the time you'll be in town.

    The Town Square is right across the street, and only about a 2 minute walk to nightlife spots like the World Famous Blue Marlin Bar, Key Largo, and the casinos around the Hotel Del Rey.

    The hotel has a casino of its own, a swimming pool, and offers an ideal location for a wild night on the town.
