Sol Cayo Santa María: All inclusive...no hassles..no problemo!!
This is a medium sized property that offers an all inclusive stay....no reaching for money every time a drink is poured...a dinner completed...or at check out...its a smooth operation and exactly what I was wanting...
The food is more that adequate and most meals are available in the main buffet dining room...there are a la carte restaurants on the property and available through reservation.
There is the obligatory beach bar that also is set back off of the beach....
The usual amenities include fresh water pool,bars...both booze and coffee...beauty salon, gift shop, and medical services.
I cant give you an exact price breakdown because there was no price breakdown in my all inclusive pricing....I paid about $ 900.00 Canadian for the week including, food, airfares and transfers...this included EVERYTHING except the Cuban departure tax which is 25 Convertible Cuban Pesos....
I think that the only negative thing I could say about this property is that the rooms could be cleaned better than they are.....this was my third time visiting this property and I noticed that they don't clean as well as they used to...
Its situated on a tremendous beach of white sand and beautiful turquoise water....the hotel rooms situated off of the beach so as not to encroach on its natural beauty.
Warning for those that might not be comfortable with nudity.....as you approach the beach....on the extreme left end...this seems to be where the Naturalists hang out.... : O } Complete nudity seems to be the order of the day at this end of the beach....so..."Heads Up"....
