Colonial charm in the heart of Vieja Habana
We had reserved our first night at the Melia Cohiba, and then went looking around for a cheaper more charming place to stay. The Hotel Floridia imediately became our choice. By walking-in, we were also given a much cheaper price than any overseas travel agency had told us: we stayed in a suite that ressembled a small apartment and paid $50 per night.
Unique Quality: In the heart of Vieja Habana, this 18th Century noble mansion is now a charming hotel. The colonial building is built around a central patio and each room has a balcony that enables you to observe the street life.
