Beautiful rooms&kind owner
This private house is in Vedado, Havana. It's old and quiet district with beautiful houses with garden. It's a family house and they have beautiful furniture from twenties ('20)!
Calle O e/ 23 y 25, Vedado, Havana, Cuba, 10400, Caribbean
The greatest thing about staying at a casa particular in Havana is that you get to meet and stay with Cubans, which is of course the best way to learn about their culture. It is also much cheaper than staying at a hotel, and it is great for practicing Spanish! My friend Victor's house is located in the Vedado area, not very far from the Plaza de la Revolucion, the University of La Habana, the cementerio Cristobal Colon and the Malecon. There are two large bedrooms and a private bathroom for visitors, a nice balcony and a common area. Victor is a sweetheart and he speaks very good English so he can help you make the best of your stay in Havana if you don't speak much Spanish.
Unique Quality: The two bedrooms make it a perfect place for friends or couples traveling together. Also, Victor's mom makes the best coffee in the entire world!
I can't say it was horrible, but it's not the greatest.
Unique Quality: The towel origami that can be found at hotels throughout the island can be found here. They have a pool but allow members of the community to use it on weekends, leaving no room for people actually staying at the motel. The hotel has pirated American TV stations. They do have Mexican Coke and Sprite if youve had your fill of Tu Cola. Also a plus, the buffet features an omelet bar.

There are bed and breakfasts in Cuba. They run 20 or 30 dollars a night (which is about a month or six weeks wages for the locals.)
I stayed at a nice Casa Particulare in the Vedado district of Havana. Vedado is a trendy Havana neighbourhood, close to the University.
The address of this Casa Particulare is:

Numero: 556
Entre: C y D Vedado Havana.
Phone Number: (07)878 79 83...always after 8 PM.
