Palacio O`Farril Hotel

We had a reservation in Hotel Park View for the 3 first nights in Habana.Arriving late we got informed to be transferred to Hotel Palacio O Farrill due to some water leakage problems in our room.

Unique Quality: It is in fact a better Hotel.The location is in Old Habana - so near to the Cathedral.

What a great hotel to stay in. Recently refurbished and very centrally located, it is literrally minutes from cathedral square. Service is as you would expect in cuba, willing, friendly and prompt. It is quite sumptuous as you would expect from a former palace.

Unique Quality: You are in a palace or marble. Room 103 is an adapted room with roll in shower, grab rails by the toilet etc. The ground floor does have a couple of one inch lips to manouver the wheel chair over, apart from that it's all plain wheeling.

Once you get in that is! There are two 1 foot high very narrow steps to manouver over to get in from the street - the hotel staff are willing and friendly and will readily help you over this hurdle - I just don't think most wheelers will be able to manage by them selves.
