Relaxing and Safe Holiday For Seniors and Families

Our Stay at the Sol was amazing. We are in our sixties and this was our first trip abroad. This is a very relaxing and SAFE trip for seniors and families or couples wanting to be together. The worse hazards we found were the sand fleas( just take bug spray and enjoy the beach anyway.) The food was good and lots of it.Bars were great and service was wonderful in all areas. There are water boats to rent at no cost.Lots of Shade areas to just sit and enjoy the ocean.I cant say enough good things about the Sol as you must be there to enjoy it.The Sol is the oldest resort on the Islands and therefore it is like a home away from home.Dont expect a 7 star resort for most of us thats not why we went.Take with a laugh the beds pushed together to make a king size, the ocean view thats covered with brush, the toilets that dont always flush and the power in the rooms that take a second to come on.The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful and fun.Book a excurision see the country meet great people and have fun thats what the trip was for us.WE would go back there anytime.

Unique Quality: The bars and resturants were great.Lots of food for all types of people. There are 3 wonderful pools which are clean.Take your own towels if you can( there are towels available but it can be a chore to return them.)The beach is the best so just enjoy. The views from there are amazing. We had all red flag days but so what the pools were there. The shows at night were good and enjoyed them alot. The best part for us were the people and yes they work for tips but the also work hard for our enjoyment there.Their pays in Cuba are in 1 month equal to what we make in 1 hr.(For less then a coffee here we can give them a days wages.)
