There is a new SPA next to Casa Linda.
There is a beautifull place where you can go for $ 50 and see all nice things on a horse back, pottery, nature and more....the most important thing is the waterfall. You can swimm upthere and you will feel like Jane from Tarzan. Its the best spot on earth....its called Jarabacoa.
This is a side-view of the resort I stayed at. It is 8kms. from Cabarete.
Cabarete is a small town just outside of Puerto Plata. It is famous for International Extreme Wind-Surfing Competitions. There is regular surf-boarding and boogie boarding also! If you're not into that-like me!!- you can tan on the beach or go on many excursions around the island.
Regular taxis are the way to go,if your resort doesn't have a free shuttle. WARNING!! Unless you are adventurous,don't take a motorcycle taxi.Vehicles on four wheels are driven crazily enough!! Besides,the motorcycle taxis are illegal but there is so many around they can't stop them from flourishing!
