Hotel Todo Azul: El Salvador's Best

The hotel was beautiful... with great service, delicious food and all the amenities. I stayed in the main part of the hotel where the rooms are decorated beautifully. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, there was cable tv, hot water, and air conditioning. The staff was friendly and over the course of 3 days I felt like family.
They also have cheaper cabanas for rent with private bathrooms but it was worth it to spend a little more and have the extra comfort.

The beach in front of the hotel is clean and feels like there is no one around for miles, yet you are close enough to explore the town of El Cuco and go eat pupusas. They offer surf lessons and I found out that they help the local school with food and school supplies. The pool is nice with a swim up bar and even on a busy weekend the place has lots of of different areas so you feel like you have your own private space with your own hammocks.

El Tortuga: Simple rooms to enjoy the beach

Right on the beach these simple rooms, twin bed, overhead fan, shared bathroom, are all you really need to enjoy the beautiful beach. You can lounge in Hammoks under the shade of palm trees, my friends even slept outside in them. A great place to go for a bit of surfing or just to enjoy the beach.

You can drink from a freshly cut coconut, Climb the roof to pich lemons for some tropical concoction, or grill up some dinner on their BBQ pit.
