Very good budget option in safe neighborhood

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 3, 2013

Stayed two nights here in May 2013, my family reserved two rooms. The facilities and rooms were very clean; the beds were comfortable with clean sheets. AC, TV and refrigerator were in very good working condition. Bathrooms fixtures and utilities fully functional and lots of hot water for the shower.

The staff is great, they really made an effort to respond with prompt service. English speakers are sparse, bone up on you Spanish.

The rooms are small with very little furniture and counter space, but the pricing is in line with cost. They do not have any vending in the evening so make sure to purchase your supplies, i.e. water, drinks, etc. before settling in for the evening.

Parking is limited and fills quickly at night. It is an unsecured lot immediately accessible from the street.

Directions: Google maps location is all wrong, look for 65 Avenida Norte on a spur extending from the North East side of Plaza de las Americas.

I walked around the neighborhood late at night and it felt safe. Overall I consider the Hotel a good bargain.
