Carriacou Villa Goyaba: A perfect stay
A very pleasant stay. Villa Goyaba was comfortable, and exactly as we expected after a visit to the web site. The staff of the rental agency was effective and cooperative. We appreciated the location (a few steps from an almost private cove), the fruits of the garden, the calm, the kindness of Shirley (the maid), the sunset. Yes, we suggest Carriacou as the most friendly place we visited and Villa Goyaba to stay. May be the sofa is not very comfortable and, one morning, we had a cutting of the electricity for a couple of hours.

Beachcomber: Fabulous rental
We stayed in a vacation rental home right on the beach. It was very comfortable. It had air conditioning and all the comforts of home. There were even fire flies outside at night! We had the beach practically to ourselves the whole time.

Paradise Inn, Carriacou: Paradise Inn - Best Bargain In the Caribbean
The Paradise Inn is located on Paradise Beach on Carriacou Island, and gives you the feeling of being Caribbean- nothing extravagant here. You get a feeling of being welcomed to enjoy the best of what the Caribbean has to offer- hospitality, good food, and a host of low-key activities such as snorkeling, fishing, or just laying in the sun.
The owners live here, and do their best to make sure their guests do what they want to do- no pressure to do anything, but willing to help you enjoy what YOU want to do.
Would recommend to anyone who wants a genuine Caribbean experience and who can do without the luxuries of the super-resorts.
Unique Quality: The rooms (and bathrooms) are huge by Caribbean standards. Floors are made of nice tiles, and the bathroom walls and showers are tiled to about 6' up.
The restaurant and bar adjoin the beach, and there is always someone (local or tourist) there to have a rum punch or Carib with and pursue different views of civilization.
No hot water, but that is a small price to pay for the enjoyment of staying there.
