La Source was my playground: All - inclusive all of the time.
Four poster beds w/ my room directly facing the ocean.
Please note though this property is quite spread out and there are hilltop rooms so bring those sneakers.
The Spice Island Beach Resort is on Grand Anse Beach ( most popular beach on the island ) and is just as lovely with a great staff.
Unique Quality: This property is unique b/c it is frequented mainly by people from the UK who stay a minimum of 10 nights. This resort is popular w/ repeat clients as well as newly weds.
Oh, did I mention that spa treatments are included daily in the ratesalong with all of your meals and drinks? You can't get much more R & R than that.

CORAL COVE COTTAGES LOCATED ON THE BEACH CONSISTED OF LARGE 2 BEDROOM APARTMENTS W/FULL BATHROOM IN ROOMS. LARGE LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN AREA, PORCH, AND HOUSEKEEPERS. VERY RELAXING.

Here the Amazing Grace, our...
Here the Amazing Grace, our home for two weeks. Bad news is . . . when this photo was taken we had been stuck on a sandbar for a couple of hours. The little tug worked for over 5 hours to get us off. BUT it was a gorgeous day, the captain had tenders running to the beach and we had no complaints.
Per person during high season, this is only $1500!
Unique Quality: This ship had seen many years of active duty in the British Navy in the North Seas before being 'retired' to more temperate waters.

We stayed in a guesthouse on a...
We stayed in a guesthouse on a hill next to the KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) restaurant. That was one of the only 'affordable' places to sleep. Basic, but with a fan (much more better than air conditionned).
Generally speaking, Grenada is NOT a cheap place to stay if you are looking into good comfort with all amenities

Unique Quality: Comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean units. About 200 yards from the beach, and set in tropical gardens. La Belle Creole restaurant is one of the best on the island. Nice pool and pool bar area. Free access to all facilities (inc. non-motor watersports) at sister resort - Spice Island Resort (very expensive otherwise).
