Nice, safe hotel with beach access

I traveled to this hotel for a nice day off with friends. The staff are very kind, the food good, and the swimming pool was clean and cool. The surrounding hotel property is safe, and the beach is clean, with a few locals selling art and souveniers, but not pushy at all. If you go into the water like we did (into the ocean) remember to wear sneakers! there are plentiful sea creatures that sting or have spiny needles- the wet sneakers are a cheap price to pay for a swim in the ocean. Expensive for Haiti (100 US) but a fair price to pay for the rest and relaxation so far from Port Au Prince. Please come to Jacmel...the place is beautiful inside and out, and the artist need your support.
