Gran Hotel Paris

Convenient & very adequate La Ceiba hotel

Clean, comfortable and pleasant stay for the 2 nights we were in town in early December. We arrived late after a long trip on 5 separate planes. We had contacted them by e-mail informing them of our late arrival. This was no problem for them. We were able to register quickly in our stupor and then get a very good night's rest.

Very nice accomodations for the 2 of us in a comfortable queen bed for only $40 per night. Our 2nd floor (1 up from ground) looked over the pool & patio but was very quiet.

Unique Quality: Location - Location. Very conveniently located in the center of town with shops, banks, ATMs, Internet cafes, restaurants, parks, bus stops, etc., all close. Most of staff were bilingual or almost there & tolerant of "Gringo" tourist types. They all tried very hard to please the guests and provide helpful service and advice.

Pleasant public park just a block away to the west near where old train station used to be. The main town plaza or "central park" is just outside the hotel's front door and across the street.
