BananaRama: Interesting Place In West Bay

We stayed in the Owners Villa (1,800 square feet) for the price of $1,50 per night. This was a great place with a few interesting quirks. First off...there is no cable or satellite TV...they do have a DVD collection for $2 each title...no time limit. Also...the power gets turned off for a few hours every Sunday to conserve energy. One great thing is that because there are no ATM's nearby, the front office will give you a cash advance on your credit card...for a 5% fee...even if you are not able to normally get one. The staff always addressed me by my name and while the bar/restaurant staff are slow...the service is great...food is average.

The views are amazing...you are on the beach. Water taxi's are right outside and a little shopping center is a 3 minute walk. There is a Grocery store and a neat gift shop called Penelope's...very friendly.
