Hi, I will be in Tegucigalpa in April and want to make it to La Ceiba to meet up with some friends. How's the bus station? Is that the best way to make it to La Ceiba? Any suggestions?

Check out the Hedman Alas bus line via their web site at http://www.hedmanalas.com/index.htm They will get you there safely and securely. Do take a sweater as it is an airconditioned bus and they do keep it a bit cold. Enjoy Honduras!

go to Yoland's Spa- it's wonderful. My favorite resturant is the El Patio. They have built a new building, on a different site, and it is very modern. They have patio area with an open grill. It smells great as soon as you arrive. The Mission house where we stay is on a hill above the city. At night I can lay in my bunk and see the lights of the city below.
A former president left his house to be used as a museum, the Museo Nacional De Antropologia e Historia is in this bulding, part of the history of our nation is writen here in the exibits. Is located downtown Tegucigalpa.
Students are sent to the museum so they can learn about our roots, this was a group of students from the university, you migth notice the differences betwen them, but we all feel that we are only hondurans, we try not to see each other as withes, natives, blacks, or any king of appart-races, we are and feel happy for that.
