Hedonism III, after many great years and experiences with 1000's of guests, is closing permanently in mid-August.
Suffice to say, the resort will then be refurbished/remodeled and re-open in late October as a SuperClubs SuperFun Beach Resort designed as an economy family resort. It will be a great place to take family and an alternative to the other nearby SuperClubs resort--Breezes.
This leaves Hedonism II resort to fill the void and it will be so much fun going there to explore and experience the original Hedonism resort in Negril on the southwest side of the island.
It is very sad to see Hedo III go....I've been 6 times and it was like a second home and I leave behind many friends on staff there.
Hedo 2 will no doubt become the hot spot and I'm already planning a few nights there hopefully before 2011....and then my group will be returning for our annual Group Trip there next spring. :-)

I've now been to Hedonism III on six separate occasions--the last being a week in june 2010---and I've updated my tip pages for upcoming Spring 2011 travels to Hedonism II for several VT members who need honest and discreet info.

There are daily activities and live nightly entertainment with weekly theme nights that include:

There is always live music at night in the Tropical Terrace where both meals are served and entertainment is provided on stage. In addition, there is the always-fun piano bar with Karaoke and then the Disco with its live DJ and an occasional nude body sliding through the waterslide tube over the dancefloor--- Now that is something you don't see everyday.
There is also a tour desk that offers over a dozen optional excursions from tours of the Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios and ziplining the rain forest canopy to a nude cruise on Thursday's.
Room rates can vary from day to day and season to season but range from about US$150 per person per night to $250 per person per night. (Email me if you want more details).
This 15-acre resort has some unique Qualities:
This is an adult-only (age 18 or older) resort that has three areas: clothing required (topless OK though), clothing-optional (either/or) and nudity required (no clothes whatsoever).
It has 210 rooms and 15 suites with 8 different categories--all with individual air conditioning, tiled floors, mirrored ceilings, roman jacuzzi bathtubs, comfy beds, direct dial phones, safe deposit box, radio/CD player, TV & video combination with some cable channels including ESPN, CNN and the Playboy Channel, hair dryer, coffee & coffee-maker, iron and ironing board. All electric current is U.S. compatible 110v, 50 cycles.
The resort offers all meals and snacks (including the 24 Super Snack Attack) plus Italian (Pastafari & reservations required), Japanese (Munasana & reservations required), & Jamaican (Scotch Bonnet & no reservations required)and finally Nud-I-Burgers (the nude beach bar & grill) along with a daily buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Airport transfers, hotel taxes and a no-tipping policy are a nice bonus also.
The resort also offers unlimited premium brand cocktails via 6 bars on site with at least one or more bars open 24/7.
Unlimited water sports including windsurfing, water-skiing, sunfish sailing, snorkeling & scuba, glass bottom boat rides, kayaking, and instruction for all.
1 freshwater pool with swim-up bar, 4 story waterslide tube starting at the disco (and clothing optional after 11 PM!).

I recently returned from my 6th fantastic stay at Hedonism III in Runaway Bay, Jamaica (June 2010).
First, let me say I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this 5-star all-inclusive beachfront resort. It had also come highly recommended from several seasoned traveler friends of mine and now even more so now after 6 visits and stays.
The staff of Hedo are special and make you feel comfortable from the time you land at the airport and later when offered your glass of champagene at check-in--all the way until the day of checkout and on your way back to the airport on the complimentary shuttle bus.
I found the food is great, the premium drinks are outstanding, the huge amount of activities so much fun, but you are not obligated to do anything at all---which is a big plus to me.
The guests are like-minded, friendly, social, and lots of fun. The staff interacts at all times with the guests.
You will never find yourself bored at Hedonism III as you can do (just about) anything you want or nothing at all--and all without guilt or being judged.

NOTE: Again, Hedonism III is closing in August 2010 and rebranding/re-opening October 2010 as a family-friendly SuperClubs SuperFun Beach Resort and Spa and it looks to be a great alternative for those considering nearby Breezes resort.
Again, I highly recommend this all-inclusive resort for those that wish to get away from "the real world" and enter into a world where you mind, body, spirit and soul can be rejuvenated.
At Hedonism you seldom hear the word "no" being spoken and you will usually hear "No problem, mon" instead.
Sleep until noon, engage in self-indulgence, be wicked for a day or a week, eat and drink when you want with no guilt, skinny dip, play pool while standing in a pool. Do just about anything or nothing at all--and 24/7 to boot.
Come here as a single, couple or group and you will have no shortage of fun options available.

Hedonism III by Superclubs is a gorgeous resort. I stayed there May 30th, 2007-June 5th, 2007 with 2 other friends in a pool front room on there "Threesome is a Freesome" special, where we purchased a room and the thrid person stays free. (However we just split the cost 3 ways.) Your experience will begin at the airport, where there is a Superclubs waiting area, you will check in there and your baggage will be taken to the provided airport transfer to the resort. Hedonism sits very far back from Main Street in Runaway Bay (you can't see the resort at all from the street), this is mostly because EVERYONE is pretty much naked :-) The resort staff is very welcoming once we arrived as we were waiting for our room to be readied, we were offered a glass of champagne and lunch at the resorts Jamaican cafe that is ocean side! Our room was very nice. Even though there were 3 women in the room, it never felt crowded or uncomfortable, though the third bed was a roll-away bed, my friend said that it was comfortable and was just the same as my regular bed. The bathroom is very big, with a sunken jacuzzi tub, and spacious shower. Over all the room was great, but you wont spend much time in there anyway!!
Unique Quality: The food on the resort was excellent. There is an Italian restuarant "Pastafari", a Hibachi Japanese restaurant "Munasun's", and the Jamaican cafe! There is also a midnight grill that stays open (I believe) until 3 am for those going out late. THe breakfast was excellent as well, pancakes, eggs, bacon, made to order omelettes, croissants, french toast, etc. The other food was the Nude Beach grill (Great place to get some classics like burgers & fries) The grounds of the resort are very beautiful and well kept. There is the main pool, waterslide and the swim up bar, and there were daily activities and vendors. The water activites are fun as well, kayaking, waterskiing, scuba diving, windsurfing, glass bottom boat trips etc. But, if a big beautiful beach is what your looking for Hedonism doesn't really have it, its main focus is the pool and pool activties, but the beach is still nice. THe night life on the resort, to be honest we didn't see much of, the disco that they have there from what I could see wasn't very live, but when they had the toga party, pimp's and ho's ball, people really seemed to enjoy themselves. My friends went to the toga party and had and excellent time! A lot of our time was spent off the resort doing other outside activities... There is a spa, but we didnt do that, and there are many outside excursions to do(At an extra cost!) Overall Hedonism was excellent. We have already booked another trip!NO KIDS allowed (which I love), 18 and older only, people are nude most of the time, so If you think this will annoy you DON'T GO TO HEDONISM!! Wonderful experience, the only thing is watch the telephone bill carefully, you ARE charged for local Jamaican calls (especially to cell phones), and $2.00 usd for other calls outside Jamaica. Otherwise HEDO IS PERFECT!

Note: I just returned from Hedo III with a group of Fantasyfesters & KrewedeKrazyLifers in June 2010 on our 4th Annual Spring Reunion-Rendezvous and it was the best yet---however,
Hedonism III closes in August 2010 forever leaving Hedonism II in Negril as the original and still ready to accomodate anyone over 18) .
Hedonism III will re-open in October 2010 as a new resort for families and called "SuperClubs Super Fun Resort. It looks to be a great transformation but my Annual Group Trip will move Spring 2011 to Hedonism II for the 5th Annual Trip.
Hedonism III (Hedo III) is a 5-star all-inclusive beachfront resort in Runaway Bay & is an adult-only (age 18 or older) resort that has clothing-required, clothing optional & nude only sections. I've been 6 times and the most recent was June 2010 for a week+.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hedo III as do several of my seasoned traveler friends & after six visits, it has only gotten better. One time I even got a day pass while cruising the Caribbean and having a stop in Ocho Rios to spend the day at Hedo III.

Hedonism III is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort. It is a 6 star hotel, on par with the Grand Lidos resorts and the Sandals chain. It is different in that it has a "party atmosphere", and a number of activities not found at other resorts in Jamaica.
Unique Quality: Three story buildings offer views of the gardens, pools or ocean. There is both a nude side and prude side, with beaches on each. A waterslide goes through the disco, makes a few turns, and ends in a pool at the bottom.
On Saturday night, there is a Gala dinner on the pool deck, with great food & entertainment.

In the spirit of jamaica respect for freedom, Hedonism is really a "No problem" resort. It 's a Club, so people is very friendly and you can talk with everybody and share. There is a nude pool and a prude pool, up to you.
Anycase, Hedonism is one of the best all inclusive in the world: you have for free all the wather sports icluded snorkeling and "diving". Body building also for free. There is great buffet, jamaican, chinese and japanese restaurant.
We stayed at Hedonism 2. It is an all inclusive resort.
It would probably be about $100.00 US dollars per night. It is a terrific all inclusive resort! It has 3 fresh water pools - one with a water slide. It has a complete gym and workout room. It has a spa - the aromatic massage was awesome! It has terrific views...a great piano bar...some great boutiques to buy souveniers...a super disco...and it has a nude beach area with a fresh water pool. There are 2 grills right on the beach for dining during the day and hammocks are set up everywhere for lounging. There is a circus school and volleyball to play on.
Hedo II is the Caribbean's wildest, most fun all-inclusive, clothing optional (in some areas) resort and a full report will be added upon my return from my 5th Annual Group Trip to Hedonism from June 18-26, 2011.

My rock of my visits to Hedonism since 2006
I'd like to know if hedonism is really a good place for singles to go... All the reviews I have read or the people going there have been about couples. If I was to go in july would I have a good time? I don't want to go there and feel like I can't participate in the activities because I'm not with anyone. By the way what I mean by activities is the games and sports that are put on by the staff - not the sexxx! any info would help.

what i said was that I did not want to go some place where I could not participate in the activities that are put on by the staff just because I was single. And that everything I read on the resort (when it came to reviews) were of couples. In other words I do not want to go someplace where i would be perceived as a peeping tom. I never said that I was going there just for the activities, of course if I'm a single guy going to a resort of this nature then I would hope that there would be some single womyn to get to know. hence, the reason for me wanting to know if it really is a place for singles too.
I have just come back from a few days at Hedo as a single. I had a blast. The best thing to do is go to sites like dennyp.com and email some other singles who are going. When you get there, don't treat it like highschool where you have to be popular. Get on with what you would do anywhere else if you are travelling alone: go to the gym or swim or shop and sunbake or whatever. At hedo, the fun will find you in good time - especially if you have already broken the ice on the internet.
