Buccaneer Beach Hotel

We love the hotel, but it is basic and some of the decor is in need of refurbishment, which was in progress.

If you are young and want to be in the thick of the night life, then stay on the Hip Strip, but if you prefer a more relaxed day with the local people, and don't mind a 10 min. stroll to the strip at night this is the place to be.

Unique Quality: This is a room only hotel, so there are few facilities.

There are two pools, one at the front and another at the back, we didn't use either as the beach is right opposite the hotel.

All the rooms have aircon. and cable TV (lots of channels).

You can eat in PO'K's next to the hotel. The food is good with a lot of choice.

The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Directions: From the airport, drive to Mobay,( about 5 mins.) turn right at the Hip Strip/Kent Ave junction, and drive to the end of the road (Dead End about 1 min.).
