Beaches Sandy Bay, Negril, Jamaica - Reviews and Hotel Information

This is an all-inclusive resort and is family oriented. Although I think the humidity is too much for little kids as it got to me some days, but hey, i had the ocean to dive into. Although there are some activities for older children and an excellent nanny service available, i think of this resort as more for adults. it is smaller then Beaches Negril but has a homey atmosphere. The staff is great and they bend over backwards to serve you, although things do move slower in the tropics because of the culture and the heat-but thats their way of life. so don't expect prompt service. learn to slow down and relax while in jamaica

The beach is beautiful. the sunsets and the view of Booby Cay are great. Everything is clean! The food was terrific. I had read reports about people getting salmonella before i went there and i have to say that no one got sick, at least those that i talked to, while we were there. Although i will advise everyone to take pepto bismol with them and begin to take it even before leaving your home country-after all-the change in water is sometimes hard on peoples systems. I did that and did not have a problem at all with local water or food.
