Cliffside Castle

One of the most beautiful spots on the cliffs, Blue Cave Castle actually has its own cave, making it easy to get in and out of the ocean. They have different apartment-type rooms for rent, fairly cheaply, and I am told that Naturists (folk who like to skinnydip and such) are welcome here. It really is a spectacular building , about halfway from Negril roundabout to Ricks Cafe.,

stopped by here looking for a room for a couple who might be visiting us on the cliffs, and the other cottage at our resort, Seagrape Villas was booked, so stopped by one day to see what they looked like--the top apartment was pretty spectacular with a great view of the water below, but very close to another apartment, and a pretty strenuous walk up the steps...this place is for young folk in particular I would guess.... In late April it was still pretty hot up there when there wasn't a breeze....Still a really beautiful spot on the cliffs---check it out when in the neighborhood.....

Jamaica's romantic holidays

I have spent two wonderful weeks in Blue Cave Castle and can highly recommend it to all my friends. The castle is unique, the view is breathtaking and the rates reasonable. This place is for very discerning tourist since castle is surrounded by the dwellings of real jamaican people, you can eat real jamaican food in many little restaurants close by and hear jamaican music in the evening. Yet the place is very private if you want privacy. The scenery is perfect, the sea is warm and sunsets out of this word. The staff is friendly, Petrona, the manager, is very helpful and even Susan, the owner, is on location. The Castle is beautifully maintained and the rooms very european and romantic.

We didn't stay in this hotel; we didn't even enter it, but watching from the sea it is the most impressive building, with a great location by the water, near Rick's cafe, but far from the sandy beaches.

A place to consider, if I had to stay in Negril.

Unique Accommodations

Blue Cave Castle is a real Castle in the West End of Negril. It has 14 rooms, some with A/C and TV. All rooms had a fridge and comfortable beds. With no bar or restaurant on site, there are no people walking in, which secured our privacy.
The owner, Susan, the manager Petrona, and all the staff treated everyone to the best of their ability. And free Blue Mountain coffee every morning served at 7 am for the early risers or the late partiers.

Unique Quality: To swim in a Pirate's cave is a total experience. To dive off the cliffs is another. The sunset views are wonderful, and the evening are fairly serene and quiet. And it is within walking distance to many restaurants, Jus' Natural, Pee Wee's, Jennies, and Mi Yard.
