West End past the lighthouse
Citronella has 6 jamaican style cottages right over the ocean past the Lighthouse just a bit.
This is a very private area, mainly because nobody has found it yet----actually it has many folk who come back year after year----prices are from $95 per night to $270 depending upon high ir low season, and which cottage you want. Winter season, a continental breakfast is included with the rates. This is away from alot of stuff--maybe a 10 minute taxi ride to the beach, a 5 minute walk to Ricks Cafe and other restaurants on the cliffs, but if security and seclusion are what you are looking for, this is your dream! Check out their amazing website....
Also I recommend going in the low season, April until late October, when prices are much cheaper, and there are less tourists as well---maybe making it easier to talk and interact with actual Jamaicans!!!
