Fun Holiday: Hotel
Took a trip alone as a single woman, loved the place and I don't have anything bad to say about Negril beach nor the cliffs. Of course your going walk around and people are going to try to sell you stuff...that's what they do for a living. You can say no thank you and walk away or stop and talk to them, they are the nicest and most interesting people and after a few days you have new friends. I was alone and never felt that I was in danger at any giving time, granted I did watch my back which I do anyways anywhere I go, I had the best time of my life and can't wait to do it again. I even met some people and went off the beaten path into their world and had the time of my life. Regardless of what anyone says I think it's an awesome place...Much Love and Respect!

Riu Negril All-Inclusive: Great! lively! entertaining!
Great place to stay. There is always something to do if you want, and if not you can find a secluded area on the very large beach. The people are terrific, and the food was good. You usually have one or the other with all inclusive packages. Riu, had everything! The bartenders were lively and the "fire breathing" entertainment was spectacular! Simply one of the best places to stay in Negril, especially for the money, just Amazing!
Lively people. seemed happy to be at work. Poolside bar, morning area, lunch facilities, dinner entertainment, Clean beaches, with plenty of room!

General Accomadition tips
The caves have alwats been nice but there are so many smaller ma & pa places to stay at......with a very negociable rate plan. Try looking on google for negril & check out every little place, I was ther last winter for 3 1/2 months & probably have pics that u may want too see. Every place either on the cliffs or beach seem to be really putting the red carpets out. People of negril should and are proud of their evolution because this was the greatest year ever for kindness & friendly service.
