You'll probably want to take a cab, Bloody Bay is at the other end of the 7 mile beach from Rick's, Margaritaville is at least 2-3 miles from Bloody Bay

You need to grab a Route Taxi ( Red Plate). $100J to the beach. If you want to go the West End (Ricks & MiYard)take the route taxi to the Round-a-bout ($100J) then grab a cab in front of the Cambio for another $100J to the west end locations.

Bloody bar is too far to walk.

Travel Tips for Negril

Two different people, both are great.

by Ron&Deb

I think the best was a motorcycle tour of the mountains, east of Negril to an area known as Roaring River, a village of about 1500 people, the Blue Hole Garden (Rastafarian owned) and lots of Rastafarians. The people were very friendly and open with everything, while the people in town were just as friendly, but very business like. The easy pace of things away from town. Thanks Stephen and Steve.

No Need for Lugging Heavy Suitcases!

by EvaWalls

Small suitcase sufficient for travel to Jamaica. But you'll want a small beach bag for sunscreen, bug repellent and cameras. No need for anything more than bikini's and cover-ups. Maybe a pair of sandals for dinner. Digital cameras are great, but bring outdoor/underwater for the beach. Sraw Hats are a must!

sunsets are more beautiful on the clif!!!!!!!!!!!

by balieyes

negril's sunsets are amazingly beautiful. every afternoon around 6/7 pm, you can see how the suns sets behind the blue waters of the caribbean.
many tourists go to the beach a few minutes before dusk to enjoy this free show. every day the sun set is different. when there are clouds on the horizon, the show is even lovelier

CocoLaPalms Restaurant

by malianrob about CocoLaPalms Restaurant

In our hotel they had a restaurant. I usually ate breakfast here but only one night did I eat dinner here. Breakfast was ok. I dont know why we didnt eat here more often but I thought that the service for breakfast was ridiculously small.
One night we were too tired to go anywhere else so we ate at the hotel restaurant and it was surprisingly delicious, great size servings and the service was excellent.

Para-sailing

by sallysuewho

The guys that you ride out in the boat with are worth the trip. They are something else. Also, the view of the coast line that this offers you is incredible. Being up that high and still being able to see the bottom of the sea. It is beautiful and exhillerating.
