Can you use couples nude beach or hedo's if you are not staying there?

Both are all inclusive resorts and very heavily controlled, all of the beaches in Negril have guards posted at both ends and they are checking to see if you have a wrist band. You can buy a day or night pass that allows you to stop by for a day, it would include food, drinks and activities, but you can't just go and park yourself on their beach.

We will be at Riu Club Negril in January. If the beaches have armed guards, will we be able to walk down the lenght of the beach along the shore?

jamaicans speak a local language called 'patois'. it is a mixture of african dialects, with english, spanish and french influences. they also speak english. some jamaicans speak english with a strong accent, though. the first time you hear a jamaican speaking english, you may have difficulties understanding him. but once you get used to their accent, it is not a problem talking to jamaicans. in some cases you will have to ask them to repeat several times what they are saying, especially when you talk to a jamaican not used to deal with tourists
Bluefields

From what I hear is that most people who come to visit Jamaica miss Bluefields which makes this a wonderful place to visit. The beaches are beautiful here without all the hasseling we might encounter on the beaches of Negril. There is also the Peter Tosh Museum. If you are into Reggae and you love Bob Marley and the Wailers you might want to visit this place.

Howies

In between Bamboo Avenue and Ys Falls we find Howies. Its also not in Negril but close by. They are openned 24 hours a day and the food in so good! The guy had so many pots and he openned each and every one of them so I can see what was inside. I saw plenty of locals eatting here so I thought the food must be good. I didnt see any tourist around though. The food here was also cheaper than at any restaurant in Negril. I had a stew chicken plate and Rob had the Jerk Chicken with rice and veggies. Both plate were real good.

Yeah I know it seems weird to eat pizza in Jamaica but their seafood pizza is amazing! Whatever is fresh, shrimps, lobster, snapper and other good toppings along with cold beer and other Jamaican specialities----good crispy crust too-----This place is ancient by cliff standards probably at least 30-35 years in the same location---really unheard of on the cliff and worth a visit for local food cooked with care. My friend Gasnell lives in the house behind the cafe and I see him there often----definitely recommended. seafood pizza
Roaring River and Blue Hole

Roaring River is a great place to hang out, smoke and contemplate. However, you should be careful with the unofficial guides that hang around Roaring River. They will try to get you to hire them and after showing you around ask for more money than agreed upon. Don't fall for their intimidations!
