Another Timeshare Resort

Of the 3 RCI timeshare resorts I've stayed in, this one is clearly the worst. The kitchen cupboards were falling off the hinges, the furniture was terribly uncomfortable, the air conditioning was only in the bedrooms and one of them only worked when the bedroom door was closed. The bathroom fixtures were covered with soapscum, the drains were very slow, and the cable TV was out.

That said, I have stayed in and enjoyed worse places, but I didn't pay over $100/night per couple for them. This place would be great for one quarter of the price. There are better places to stay on Bonaire for that amount of money.

Unique Quality: The saving graces of the resort are the restaurant (excellent - see restaurant recommendation), the dive shop, and the location. It's located on one of the better reefs in Kralendijk, right next to the Buddy Dive resort. The in-house dive shop, Bon Bini Divers, make it very easy for you to dive on or off the resort, day or night. The reef is home to 2 huge tarpon, 2 small wrecks, and a bunch of other critters. I saw my first octopus here (though it was tiny).

A: "Off hand I´d say that snorkling and scuba diving is a full-time thing on Bonaire! Breakfast - in the water - lunch - back in the water - dinner and disco - to bed!"
