Hijos del Maíz Escuela de Español campesina: Language school en el campo
Not a hotel but family accommodation in the mountains near Estelí. Hijos del Maíz offers spanish classes in the village of El Lagartillo. I lived with a very nice campesino family in a adobe house without electricity, no water in the house, but in the back yard there is a cabin with some cold water. No TV, no computers, but a lot of time to discuss and make music.
I lived there for a week only, but met a lot of lovely people. Everybody was eager to learn a lot about me, my country, to learn some english.
