Quaint and cozy place to unwind
This was a nice hotel. If your are looking for a large chain hotel, this is not for you, there are only 14 rooms. We were there for two nights and then returned a few days later after going to Granada and San Juan Del Sur. The first stay we were in Room#14, the second time Room #7. Room #7 was nice but #14 was much bigger and the bathroom was also larger. They told us they try to save #14 for the people who are staying there the longest, but I don't know how true that is. They all have a private bathroom, AC, ceiling fan, hot water, TV etc. Breakfast is included which is somewhat of a typical continental style breakfast but with gallo pinto (rice and beans) and eggs too. There is also 24 hour security which is nice when you come in late from one of the clubs!
Unique Quality: This is a colonial style hotel located in a residental area. It is within walking distance of some restaurants and bars. Parking can be a bit of a challenge though, as there are only a few parallel parking spots in front of the hotel. The hotel is $85/night plus tax. (this is per room, not per person)
