5 star hotel on Balboa Avenue with the best location. Great rooms, service, gym, internet connections in the rooms. All very inexpensive. Even better if you are a member of the Six Continents Club.

Hotel del Parque in center of Islas Bocas del Toro. As it is quite popular place with too few lodging I would suggest to book in advance..the owner of this hotel has more information about anything than the tourist information e.g. USD 30 Leave a Comment Theme: InnComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: just in center of town at the park

UNFORTUNATELY this resort was CLOSED by the kuna indians, because they have their own government and laws, they decided they did not want any foreign inversors in their islands. I hope they open it soon, because it is beautiful.
Kwadule Ecolodge has comfortable cabins built on piles over the sea , with private bathrooms, drinking water, electricity. Outside the cabins, behind a trail surrounded by palm trees, you will find the Casa Club, a large hut built in Kuna style with excellent views of the sea. Great room service, pool and is located only a hop skip and a jump from most of the good resturants and night clubs. It does not have a casino anymore. Last time I was there the price of a room was around $60 night but that was almost 3 years ago and before the US pulled out, it might be more or less now. I almost forgot to mention. I think this little boy came with the accomodations. He used to hang out in front of my hut with that pittiful look on his face until I got up, went outside and watched him climb up a palm tree. Of course he expected prompt payment for his entertainment services! A single coin was ample payment for him. It always brought quite a smile to his face. I sure wish I would have taken a photo after he received payment. Then I could show you the before and after looks. Wait a minute... maybe I never paid him and that's why I don't have an after photo... Just kidding, I paid the little bugger :-) Theme: Other

Here I sit in front of my hut. My attire was 'uniform of the day' for the entire time I was in San Blas. It's not possible to get more relaxed than this! And there was beer too!!! Theme: Other
