Hotel Canadien: A room with a guide....

Ralph and Katie are a couple of fun-loving Canadians that own & run the Hotel Canadien in Chame. (Chame is in the Panama provice, about 20 minutes closer to Panama City.)

The Hotel Canadien is not on the beach, but they have a pool, tennis courts, a really nice covered, outdoor bar. They also offer family style dining.

Ralph acts as a guide and takes guests on tours at their request. I met Ralph & Katie because he was doing the ground support for a Kayaking trip I took.

Las Sirenas: Beachfront Paradise

We stayed in a 3 room cabana on the beach - about 50 steps from the beach. The accomodations were nice for the area.
*Kitchenette: Refrigirator, stove (that required a match to light), breakfast bar, and pots, pans & utensils.
*Air conditioned Bedroom
*Living room combined with the kitchenette
*Loft with another bed (futon)
*Porch / veranda with a table & chairs & a hammock!

They also have BBQ pits they'll light for you if you want to cook outdoors.
