    I really enjoyed this place. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
    It is safe. The room was clean and had ice cold air conditioning.
    There is a nice rooftop swimming pool.
    The restaurant was just average, but the hotel was going through a remodel when I was there, so it could be better now.
    There is a pharmacy across the street.
    I will always stay at The Roma Plaza when I visit Panama.

    When we were looking on lastminute.com for a hotel in Panama we were intrigued by the low prices (60 USD for a superior room) of this 4 stars hotel, ad booked it right away. The location seemed good and their website showed pictures of nice rooms. it also has a lovely little pool on the 7th floor.

    We found the hotel very run down... the first room we were shown smelled of mould and it was very little... we politely pointed out that we had chosen a Superior room and they told us that they had given us a suite. Now, I may not have often been in a suite (maybe once or twiceo ny) but I do know what it looks like. We asked to be given a superior room and after a lot of insistence gave us another room, larger, no strange smells but still a bit run down. Most plugs were broken with wires hanging out. We have stayed in 1 stars hotel of much better quality. My advice. keep away from the Roma Plaza
