An unplanned visit
Caesar Park Hotel is a fabulous 5 star hotel. The staff all speak English and are uniformly pleasant and helpful. The restaurant and especially the breakfast buffet is top notch.

Pamama City and Beach
Hi, I am thinking of going to Panama mid Feb for about 7-10 days not sure yet.
I am thinking flying in to Panama City for a day or 2 and than hit the Beach .
Is it safe for female alone Panama City? What would be a good hotel Which Beach is the best.

Hi, I just came back from Panama 2 days ago, it was WAY nicer that I thought it was going to be...I would suggest to travel around, Panama city is nice but very noisy...Definately not the best of panama...While in PC you can go to Lake Gaboa on a little boat and feed monkey/fish..it is SO much fun and 15min from th city...I then went to Boquete, the drive was beautiful. We went tree treking, saw the coffee plantations, you can hike to the volcano...Then we went to Bocas de Torro which I highly recommand...SO isolated and beautiful!!! People were nice and warm. I was with my husband but I think it is pretty safe...

My husband and I were there a couple of years ago for valentine's. If you take the usual big city precautions it's fine . Make sure the hotel calls your cab ...don't walk at night ....that sort of thing. There is great shopping there at Multiplaza Pacific Mall . The cab took us there and came back later.
There are tons of good hotels. The Caesar Park Panama was nice and a good price.
