The Enchanted Hacienda: A magical B&B in the cool hills near Panama City

Some South American novelists are known for their magical realism, so why not a magical B&B in the hills of Panama only 1.5 hours from Panama City? The Enchanted Hacienda is set in the beautiful bowl of an extinct volcano, surrounded by mountain streams, and at an altitude that generates year round air conditioning.

In August 2005, we were to first guest to stay at this new B&B run by Honey and Larry Dodge. I think they had almost as fun as we did during our visit.

This is a great place to stay while visiting the development of Altos Del Maria and looking at a place for your dream vacation or retirement home.

Each room has a different decor, as well as the unique exterior colors you can see from the picture.

We were able to identify several birds from the songs we head while lying in bed, and we saw many others while wandering around the stream that borders the property.
