Me and a friend stayed at the Parador Joyuda Beach Hotel and I left an expensive diamond ring at the hotel. I called back to the hotel talked to the maid that cleaned the room, she assured me that she had found my ring, she stated she would give it to managament so that would mail to me. As of March 14th, I have not received any package or explanation why I have not recieved my item. The person that booked the room has talked with the lady on the desk, but she keeps saying that management is never around. I think that is total ***. Please check carefully before you leave the premises, because you may never receive your treasured items from this hotel and management.

Looking for lodging in a small town close to the beach
During Jan, 2005 my wife and I would like to spend 3 weeks at a location in Puerto Rico in a small town close to the beach and where Spanish is commonly spoken.
We are looking for a small hotel or Inn, etc. Are there Inn's that include one or two meals as part of the normal lodging?
Possibly a location where people who live in San Juan PR may go for their vacation.
Is there something like this available on the island?
Is there a source to find this type of lodging?

Hi!!!!
The main language in Puerto Rico is the Spanish, so wherever you go in here, you will find the language.
The official tourism website of Puerto Rico is:www.gotopuertorico.com. Everything you ask for, you will find an answer there.
About the recommendations, I liked the Yabucoa resort. Cheap, clean and in most of the packages, includes the meals. The beach is not one of the best, but you can go to beaches next there.
Another one that I liked was the Joyuda Beach resort in Cabo Rojo, and it is one of the best beaches here.

i would suggest aguadill for your visit... its a mid size town...some very nice beaches playa crash boat playa jobos... the park in town is very nice and family orenented and has a very intresting tree house built up in a larg tree. like the Swiss Family Robinson movie... and some nice local hotels Cielo mar and more..... need more details email me rlingram@prtc.net as for spanish being commonly spoken well thats all of Puerto Rico here english is a second language.....
