Cruise stops
Hi there,
We are taking a Celebrity Cruise leaving next Saturday the 24th. Our stops include Puerto Rico, St. Johns, Tortola BVI, Charlotte Amillie and Phillipsburg. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to do in any of these places? There are 7 of us going, so any suggestions will be awesome!

Puerto Rico: Old San Juan, Rain Forest, Bacardi Factory. St. Thomas: if you are looking to shop for bargins this is the place, if not hire a taxi to take you over to Megan's Bay for the day. St. Marttins: Orient Beach (clothing optional).

Is the St. John's your talking about St. John USVI? or St. Johns, Antigua?
San Juan, PR - If you time is limited because this is your departure port, I suggest Old San Juan shops and the fort.
St. John USVI - SNORKELING, Waterlemon key (nice island to snorkel around and explore, not much beach), little Lamshur bay (secluded, nice beach), Hawksnest Bay (Best coral/sea life easily reached) or Truk Bay (beautiful but can be "crowded" with cruisers) BEACHES - Hawksnest Bay (beautiful easy to get to), Reef Bay (private, can be heavy surf and windy. HIKING - Try the trail that begins at Centerline Rd and heads downhill to Reef Bay and the old rum factory near the beach. (long walk back up hill unless you arange for pickup by boat with local guide.)
Tortola BVI - take the ferry to Virgin Gorda and the Baths! Most spectacular snorkeling sight I have ever visited.
Charlotte Amillie - Shop.
Phillipsburg, St. Marteen - Shopping, Gambling and beaches.
