this resort is beautiful and located about 40 minutes from the San Juan area . this hotel offers transfers from the San Juan airport at an additional fee .
the view as you pull into the entrance is breathtaking . the view from the top of the hill down to the resort complex is overlooking the beach . you really do need to take a picture . Either of the HYATT resorts in DORADO, which is about a forty-five minute drive along the coast from San Juan. There is the HYATT HACIENDA DEL MAR RESORT and the HYATT REGENCY CERROMAR BEACH RESORT. The latter is the more luxurious of the two -- it even has a golf course right on the property. We were perfectly happy at the other one, however..... There are several restaurants on the hotel grounds, the beach is beautiful whether by day or by night -- and the mile-long 'river pool' (with water slide) is not to be missed!

The location is one of grandeur, excitement and luxury. The aerial view of Isla Verde Beach from my hotel is just so awesome!
The compound is cheaply and easily reached from the airport, and to Old San Juan by public bus. The vicinity is populated with dining places and entertainment spots - casinos, cock fight dens and latino clubs, to name a few. Theme: Other

The 'Paradores'. There is a whole list of these Inns, they are all approved by the tourism office and are located all around the Island, perfect when you are traveling 'por la isla' around the island.

I don't know the price, but they do have often really good vacation packages.
This is a full service resort: Casino, tennis courts, one of the best golf courses( Chichi Rodriguez favorite), bicycle rentals.The pool it's awesome. It is supposed to be the longest pool in the world(I don't know, you know how locals like to brag) but you will enjoy travelling down its currents, under its waterfalls, relaxing in its jacuzzis, or sitting in its wet bar enjoying a Rum Punch or a Pina Colada. Or going down its slides or playing volleyball in the wet court. The beach here it is kind of rough for my taste. Great choice for families. They usually have great vacation packages.
The only private beach in all Puerto Rico. Very calm waters. Great Casino. Romantic gardens. It posseses part of history with ancient San Geronimo Fort in its grounds.
