Rincon Beach Resort: Secluded Paradise
The scenery there is very nice. It rained almst every day until 3pm or so. There is only one restaurant that isnt very busy, but the food is good. It seemed very desloate when I was there. The town of Rincon was very desloate too. It was very beautiful though. Mangos on the ground everywhere. Nonight life on the resort, there was a little bar across the street playing loud music, but it was dead too!
Unique Quality: The pool was medium size, and very close to the beach. Its probably the best place to stay in rincon. Rincon by the Sea is probably a little more happening though...its closer to town.

i have always stayed with...
i have always stayed with family so i am not a good source in this matter. however, i believe there are plenty of motels, hotels, and 'paradores'. PARADORES are an excellent way to see the entire island. if you are a tourist and plan on experiencing puerto rico inside and out, then you MUST stay at PARADORES. the tourism industry assigns this label of 'parador' only to hotels that meet a criteria of culture, character, local-sense, and intimacy. each one throughout the island is different, they are often old restored houses or government buildings...so take your pick, the mountains, the beach, or both. i highly recommend these PARADORES, they are better than staying in a luxury, expensive resort packed with tourists where you wont learn anything. you can pick up a list of their location at the international airport in San Juan. There is a closer airport on the west coast on the town of Aguadilla, but i have never flown from there.
