More about Coconut Palms Inn
A wonderful, peaceful place to have a true vacation
by TripAdvisor Member coolgrammy
My husband and I just returned from a trip to The Coconut Palms Inn in Rincon, Puerto Rico. I have to say that it was the most relaxing vacation that we've ever taken, and we've been many places. The Inn is charming, very clean, right on the water, and the owners and employees do all that they can to please their clients. There are a couple of lovley courtyards with barbeque facilities for the clients to use, one overlooking the ocean, one in the shade. There are also floating beach toys and chairs, coolers, and beach towels available for everyone to use so you need not bring any of these things. Our apartment was fully equipped,(microwave, fridge, stove, coffeemaker, cable tv), and the staff comes in each day and tidies up by doing the dishes, bringing fresh towel and making the beds.I would highly reccommend Coconut Palms Inn to anyone who wants a true vacation. The only thing I'm sad about is that it's over.
Best sunset ever!!

I just looved the Coconut Palms Inn in Rincon, Puerto Rico. It's a delicious beach front property with the best sunset view I have ever seen. Wine at the beach in the afternoons for this incredible show of color is a must. The room was very comfortable and properly equiped with utensils so we could have our drinks and snacks. They also have grill and bar facilities for guests and we were able to have our own BB-Q in the evening. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks to Johnnie and Gayle for everything. See you next year!!!

We stayed at the Coconut Palms Inn for twelve wonderful days. The Inn is located on the beach overlooking great sunsets every night. The staff, Rosie, Annie and Angel make you feel like family. The room was confortable and was equiped with a full kitchen. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to visit. We'll come back again.

Great Place to Stay

This is a very laid back and quiet place. Great for relaxing. Rosie and Angel were superb. They made our stay so wonderful. Beau the dog is great. We loved playing with him, but he never was intrusive and very quiet.
Words can't describe sitting on the patio. When we weren't swimming, we were glued to the comfy chairs. Whether daytime or sunset, the view of the ocean couldn't be beat.
Apartments are very clean. A little older, but perfectly suitable. We always had clean towels, hot water, we lacked for nothing, and if we did run out of something, one word to Rosie or Angel, and it was there in minutes.
We really enjoyed our stay there and would go back again. Warning: If you like a big resort with action all the time, maid service, a bar, this isn't for you. But if you want a relaxing, quiet vacation in a clean environment at a reasonable price, you can't find better.
I loved Coconut Palms Inn

I just had the BEST vacation at the Coconut Palms Inn in Rincon, Puerto Rico. It's a great place right in front of the beach that overlooks a gorgeous sunset scene (suggestion: enjoy this view with a couple of Margaritas). The beach is beautiful and very relaxing. The room was comfortable, neat and equiped with a fridge, microwave, china, glassware etc., making it easy for us to bring our beverages and snacks. Moreover, the staff was very warm and friendly. Thank you Johnnie and Gayle for your generosity and wonderful hospitality. I'll be back soon!! P.S. Say hi to Beau for me!!
Most relaxing Trip E V E R !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I just spent a long weekend in Rincon (Sat-Wed) and it was phenomanal. The roughest patch was the drive from San Juan to Rincon at night, but as of June 1, Delta flies to Aguadilla (no more than 20 minutes away), so that becomes no problem.
On to the trip. We arrived a little late (7:30) due to a missed flight in ATL, and Angel and Beau were waiting for us. We were exhausted, but Angel helped us to our room (the coqui....WELL worth it, nothing more relaxing than the ocean to fall asleep and wake up to). He then comped us a map and recommended us a couple of seafood resaurants. The Rincon Tropical was our destination and off we went.
The next couple of days were the most restful and most enjoyable we could have had. We never strayed too far from our hotel. There was a grocery store 1/2 mile away. The Breakfasts at the Taino Cafe were great as well. During the day we played on the beach, walked down to the villa cofresi for drinks, and enjoyed throwing the stick with Beau.
Some good places to see would be the Faro Rincon (just up 115 to 413), and Taino Divers can take you to Desecheo if you want (when the boat isn't under repair). You have to eat Mahi Mahi sandwiches in the Calypso Cafe and watch the sunset. There are no words that can describe the beauty.
I have spent MORE to stay at the Secrets Resort in Punta Cana, D.R. , but enjoyed the Coconut Palms and Rincon just as much and in fact would be more likely to return.
Relax...Now relax more

Five days at the Coconut Palms was great! The beach is wonderful. Go to sleep to the sound of surf. Patio with nice bar where you can cook on a gas grill. We made steak and chicken kabobs and cracked open a bottle of wine and watched the sun set over Descheo Island. It was reasonable, clean, relaxing and fun. Many beaches nearby where snorkeling, surfing and lots of sunshine exist. Smiling Joes at the Lazy Parrot is the best restaurant in the area. Many of the rest are overpriced beach bar food. Better to go to the Mercado and get groceries and cook at the Coconut Palm.
Loved the beachfront room !!!

During our six-day stay at the Coconut Palms Inn, we relaxed in the sun, grilled out steaks, watched beautiful sunsets and had breakfast on the patio everyday. We even saw whales from our room! Rooms are cozy and we took full advantage of the refrigerator, microwave, plates, etc. It was very clean and you couldn’t beat the view. We will definitely return to the Coconut Palms Inn. It was truly a wonderful place to stay.
Great place to stay!

We stayed in a beachfront room, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The waves crash near the patio that opens from the two units, and we found it very pleasant. The door to the adjoining room didn't do much to muffle the sounds of the TV and such of our neighbors, but the ocean surf did a great job of that in its place. So no real complaints. The sunsets cannot be topped either. The management was very helpful and friendly, and we appreciated that. The resident dog is a nice touch -- very mellow and friendly. I highly recommend the place.
Wonderful beach accomodations

The Coconut Palms Inn is a terrific place to stay if you're looking for a quiet vacation with a BEAUTIFUL view of the Atlantic Ocean. Our door was only 40 feet away from the water and the sounds of the waves on the beach provided a nice backdrop every night at bedtime.
They provide everything necessary to cook all your own meals, except the food itself, but if you wish to dine out, there are several nice restaurants within walking distance.
The staff was very helpful when we had any questions regarding the local attractions and provided excellent service whenever we wanted something.
A better family-owned and -oriented vacation spot would be VERY difficult to find.
