Map Puerto Rico has been designed for the visitors to the island to help design and a trip of a lifetime.
If there's any place tropical that is truly a something for everyone 'wants it all', this beautiful island has it for you and your family! Map Puerto Rico will help you get there for your visit easily and trouble free.
Cathedrals, museums, and stately Spanish squares abound, many sumptuously restored for Puerto Rico's 1993 quincentennial. Shopping and dining combine the best of Old and New Worlds, while the nightlife, both in the cities and at the finer resorts, is a neon kaleidoscope of casinos, clubs, and shows.

Go to the beach, eat seafood, drink rum, and go to the museums, if you like night life we have great casinos and night clubs at all the big hotels and we have great food!! El Parque del Indio in Condado is always a great time, specially if you have kids, but if you don't it's always a great place to go alone, very relaxing place, and it's located at Ashford ave.
This is a picture of some of the art you can find there!!
Castillo San Felipe del Morro, (El Morro)
by Waalewiener
" El Morro '' fortified in 1539, finished in 1589, 140 feet above sea level, 18 ft thick walls. The Fort only fell once to a land assault by the Earl of Cumberland forces.
The Fort is a maze of Tunnels, Dungeons, Barracks, Outpost, and Ramps. There were many restorations and expansions to make the Fort what it is today. The area is a 74 acre site and it has been a National Historic site since 1949. Tours are available , Tour office is open 9-5, and admission is free. Seeing all the colourful buildings the Forts , the Ships in the harbour etc etc
I wish we could have spent more time in San Juan.
FLAGS
by moiraistyx
The Puerto Rican flag much like many other flag holds a lot of symbolic significance. It took a while of researching but here is what I found.
Although the first Puerto Rican flag was first used in December of 1895 it wasn't adopted until 1952.
Each color represents different things:
White - peace and honesty
Red - hardiness, bravery, strength & valour
Blue - vigilance, truth and loyalty, perseverance & justice
The white star represents the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
The red stripes, there are three of them, represent blood.
The white stripes, there are two of them, represent freedom of the individual.
The 3 sides of the triangle signify the 3 branches of government
Coast Guard

We came in on a cruise ship, escorted by the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard station was near where our ship docked (photos 1 and 2). If I was coming on a smaller boat it would be important to me that
