El Yunque and the palm trees
The Bacardi Plant...it was so cool. You could drink and visit the plant where the most popular spirit of the world is sold. We bought so many bottles of Rum and a 10th of the price we would have paid in the states.

Has anybody stayed in San Juan Park Hotel, I'm having a hard time finding pictures of the hotel. I'm looking for a small hotel in Old San Juan or Condado, I don't want the busy hotels with casinos.
This might not help since I have never stayed there and if you're set on that hotel, but....my wife and I stayed at El Convento Hotel in Old San Juan which we absolutely loved, (and they have their own website).
Its very charming, wasn't busy, no casino and directly across the street from the San Juan Cathedral. Free daily buffet of various wines and cheeses for guests was amazing! Check out my San Juan page under accomodation if you'd like. Have fun in Puerto Rico.
Thanks for your answer, I'll check that hotel too, I was curious about San Juan Park Hotel because it's kind of hard to find information and pictures of the hotel.
I would suggest Boriquen Inn on Ave. Isla Verde, you can walk out the door and be at the long beach that is offered there. you can get a bus service to old san juan just outside your door. They have a kitchen area , if you prefer to make your own breakfast. They are clean, quiet and close to a lot of larger hotels if you wish to enjoy the nightlife and restaurants.
If you don't know spanish. start now to learn..You will have an easier time to adventure in the area... The preferred language is spanish, although you are in the tourist area of the island.

For the most part. perhaps the best way to really explore San Juan is by foot. Though we just had the afternoon to spend here, we made the most of it. We walked through this historic town and marvelled at the Spanish architecture and the vibrant tapestry of colour on the buildings. The STREETS OF OLD SAN JUAN were narrow and cobblestoned and humming with activity. Local folk and tourists alike were enjoying the warm sunny day.
I was amused by these advertisements. Actually I find that Condom World is a chain of stores dedicated to the sales of condoms, oils, pornographic movies, magazines, sex toys and other types of sex related products. The chain started in the late 1980s averages 2,000 square feet per store in key towns in Puerto Rico. Twenty years later they have more than 26 stores.
There is of course an on-going controversy caused by protests of church (especially the Catholic church which is anti-birth control) and other conservative groups each time a new store opens. Condom World's defense is their claim that their aim is for people to have safe sex and a happier couple life.
"Condom World" offers movie rentals and sales including sex toys and magazines, averaging two thousand square feet stores in key towns, they had about 26 stores by 2007.
This is a tropical island, so warm clothes are the ticket. I try to take as little as possible and items that I can mix and match. I usually where something that can go from any weather (if it is winter in NY, then I wear a pair of jeans, walking shoes, t-shirt with a sweather on tope and my jacket). I also carry my tooth brush (no morning breath here), something to read, glasses, contact case and travel solution, Tylenol (I usually get headaches during long flights).
