Grounds are beautiful
If the rooms were as nice as the grounds, it would be a great place to stay. The flowers are beautiful, the area pristine. The rooms are well worn and in need of repair. Our room was clean, but that is about all I can say for it. The bathroom floor had a chunk missing from it, covered by a rug. The switchplates were falling off the wall, along with the bathroom cup holders, etc. The safe did not work properly, there were water stains on the draperies and wall in the bedroom/sitting area. I think that with a little effort you can find a better place to stay. The nearest restaurants are a 10 to 15 minute walk also. Breakfast was passable, nothing special! Think twice before making this your choice.
