Great location, nice hotel, affordable

Bay Gardens Hotel (not to be confused with Bay Gardens Inn, next door) is quite nice for it's price range and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk personnel helped us figure out the right bus to take, the fare for taxis, and various tour sign-ups. Bay Gardens hotel is very close to Reduit Beach and the local restaurants so it was very easy for us to walk down to the area to find food, plus the supermarket was between the hotel and beach so it was easy to get some snacks and breakfast food. The room had some 110V US outlets, a refrigerator, and our room was in range of the free wireless internet by the hotel's pool and restaurant.
Since Bay Gardens is located in Rodney Bay, we were close to all sorts of activities. A lot of the all-inclusive hotels are further away from the main city so self-exploring from those is more difficult and requires taking taxis. Great location - a short walk (10 minutes max) to the beach, to restaurants, etc.

This was our 4th hotel to try on our first trip to St. Lucia. Very quiet, contained, friendly atmosphere. We had one of our best meals here - it was a buffet - and I fell in love with tomato pesto and salami pizza - among many other delicious items (just so you know - pizza is Not my favorite food). It had the best of everything that night along with excellent entertainment. A welcome retreat from the bustle of the other places we had been too. They are in the starting stage of building a new hotel beachfront - hopefully it does not lose its beautiful ambience. Rooms were excellent - bottom rooms had dual entry. Close to many amenities - including Rodney Bay.

We stayed here from Feb13-Feb27. The staff was very pleasant and helpfull.It was anice change from the big all-inclusives we had stayed at the last few years.The staff spent lots of time talking to us and would go out of their way to say hello. We met people from many Carribean islands who were here on business and were very polite. Everything is within waking distance and th ere are many dining options from cheap to expensive.The property is well kept and very clean

We returned to St.Lucia after 18 years and found the charm that brought us back to St. Lucia at the Garden Bay Hotel. The service was top notch. All the way from the front desk to the room cleaning staff. The pools were always cleaned every morning. The Manager's Rum Punch party was a big hit. The whirlpool was being cleaned when we got there. Otherwise everthing was in working order. They upgraded our room to a superior room for making wait while they prepared our room.
It was close to everything in Rodney Bay area.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Bay Gardens we have travelled all over the world and stayed at some on the best hotels in the Carribean and most recently Dubia. The Bay Gardens isnt a 5 star hotel but what you get is friendly warm and genuine service. The hotel manager bent over backwards to make sure that our stay was second to none. We had one issue with a guy on reception that kept pestering us for a tip throughout our holiday but we laughed this off. The food was excellent, the chef always popped out to see how the guests where doing. I would definatley reccomend this hotel over some of the more popular ones in the area. The live entertainment was exceptional !!!!
