Beachcomber's: Beautiful Grounds

We decided to spend a few days here on our way to Bequia. Good idea. There's a nice beach out front and a pleasant pool before you get to the beach. The restaurant was good, and we appreciated the free breakfast. The rooms are beautiful with a deck out front and cable tv and ac. The diving in St. Vincent is wonderful (Dive St. Vincent).

The grounds are fabulous. There are exotic plants at every turn. The buildings are all painted bright, Caribbean colors and they make an extraordinary backdrop to the gorgeous vegetation.

My only complaint about St. Vincent and the Grenadines is that the beaches aren't long, strolling beaches. Villa Beach had 3 or 4 hotels/restaurants that you could walk the beach to, but it's actually dangerous getting over or under the main dock. It would be really nice to have that access.

Cobblestone Inn: Very good stay!

The hotel is located in an old sugar mill. Very interesting look and feel.
Very friendly and attentive front desk staff. Housekeeping staff unobtrusive but efficient.
No elevator, front desk lobby up flight of stairs from entrance.
Could get money changed at the front desk.

Great downtown location, right on the main street. Kingstown is very walkable.
Large rooms with large comfortable beds.
High-Speed Internet access in the rooms, wireless and DSL connection.
Air conditioned, which comes in handy during hot, humid days and nights.
Upstairs restaurant offers simple, tasty selections for breafast and lunch.
Bar and restaurant at entrance from street (not hotel owned) has good selection of food and liquors.

sugarapple inn: relax in bequia appartments

Stayed in these appartments for a week in 2006.
Beautiful spacious rooms.
Very nice staff.
Great romantic hideout.
Fully equipped kitchen.
Flatscreen tv.
Very clean.
Lovely small pool.

Great views, especially from the upper rooms facing the garden.
5 min. walk to lovely beach.
Very quiet, but just by the road, easy to catch a bus.
Lovely decorated, colourful rooms.

Young Island Hotel/Resort: A private island resort

What can you say, a private island, with sail fish, snorkeling, swimming, sun, flowers, et al!

Talk about setting in the "lap of luxury". About the only thing that is not "included" in the rate is lunch and beverages.
Each cabin is selcuded from the other cabins, so your "activities" are your own. The outdoor shower at each cabin was sheilded from others view by only a bamboo screen, which tended to give one a rather unusual effect of naturism that might take some 'getting used to".

Cobblestone Inn: Kingstown's hotel

Cobblestone Inn is a nice hotel in the cente of Kingstown. Reasonable price. Nice stuff.

Sunset Shores: St Vincent's Best Hotel

It's directly on the small Villa beach. The rooms are very nice, specially if you take one on the corner, with two terracies, absolutely with ocean view.

Brand new (and in this case that's a good thing) resort-type hotel without the attitude. Rooms are beautiful and have direct access to their own beautiful beach. Excellent restaurant on premises and these rooms are fully outfitted.

Only 10 rooms and they've got every amenity you could want and none that you don't ('fridge in room, internet access, small kitchen) and the place is spotless.

A: "Try flying through Barbados or even Grenada. One of the reasons these islands are so unspoiled is that it can be a bit of a challenge getting here! Where are you flying..."
