Mariners Hotel: Friendly People, St. Vincent

We spent two nights here in a "Deluxe" room #105. It had a sea view, a/c and and an overall one fabric decoration theme. It was comfortable though. There was the issue of the shower window which opened to a public balcony off the 2nd story rooms...with no curtain. But hey, am I really that prudish? The room had a balcony. The pool was decent with lounge chairs on a deck next to the shore. The water wasn't clear blue, what I would consider swimming quality, but probably good for kids as there were no waves to speak off. There were boats anchored off shore and Young Island was right across the water. Nice bar (first decent martini on the islands) and great service, cheers to the bartender :) We had one dinner here at The French Verandah Restaurant. While the ambiance was fabulous, my shrimp was overcooked and overpriced. Free internet, desk service occassionally unavailable.

Sky Blue Beach Appartments: Sky Blue Beach Appartments

They have a few air conditioned appartments (studio type) with the kitchen, so if you are tiered eating outside you can make some food of your own. They also have a restaurant to serve only for the house guests. Enjoyed my stay here.

Unique Quality: Dosent have much facilities, but its very near to the 'Indian Bay' beach, which is very near (just 2 minutes walk). Just walk & swim. Great!!!

Yong island resort: Open air cabins

The cabins are simple with ceiling fans and open screens. The sounds of nature and ocean breeze assist in the deepest sleep ever.

Unique Quality: Cottages with a ceiling fans, open air garden showers, private patio, ocean view, and some with private pool;) I love those outdoor showers!!
