Breezes Bahamas: Breezes Bahamas

by ArenJo

I would recommend this resort to others. The service was good, the resort itself was great and there was a lot to do there, however the rooms were lacking. The "midnight snack" wasn't too great, it was old stuff and not much was there to choose from. The breakfast was wonderful! I saw one cockroach in my room and I only stayed one night. The room was very, very basic. Of course, I work for an airline so I'm sure we got the worst rooms available (they keep better rooms for paying guests). So, I can't comment on the more expensive rooms.

The shows at night are decent. Nothing specatcular, but something to do if you are up at night and don't feel safe wandering the streets or the beach.

Beautiful views around the pool and ocean.

Hotel: Comfort Suites

by XKuger

We stayed at the Comfort suites in Nassau and Paradise isle. Its the only value in Nassau... well not realy a value, one would call it a value compared to the exorbitant rates next door at the Atlantis.

The hotel was nice and clean as we upgraded to the superior room and it has a coffee maker and a refrigrator to store food etc. Everything worked and the staff were very nice. Breakfast is about average... anything outside the standard breakfast buffet you pay standard exorbitant bahamas prices..

The most unique quality of this hotel I would say was the unrestricted accesss to the Atlantis resort.

Green turtle Club: RELAXATION 100%

by beachpupocmd

If you are looking for a great get away from it all..This is the place. Quiet-natural beauty all around. Grab a golf cart see the town. Find one of the many beaches down a dirt road and park yourself for the day. (Bring your own beach chair) This is NOT your place if you are looking for casinos-disco-spas treatments etc. Ms. Emily Blue Bee's gombay smash...got have one. Pinapples...in the town of New Plymouth...Salt water pool..next to bar...Watch out for the Pinapple Smash there...
Green Turlte Club - Friendly-clean-perfect pool size and location with small bar-
They have a few times for dinner..and you order you meal in the morning.. The food is fabulous... and the Champagne selection is very good.
ROOMS- beautiful modern and up to date.. small tv..but you won't turn it on anyway..Can't stay inside
PERSONNEL- The best ever- Very helpful -always smiling and good looking too.

VIEWS everywhere you look. Pool-screen porch overlooking white sound.\
Get Brendal or Lincoln to take you are a day trip. Snorkling and have a great trip with either

sheraton CABLE BEACH: ALL INCLUDED

by tankpvt

We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed the hotel and casino. Rooms were clean and had nice view of beach. Some rooms may face the nearby hotel and casino. Large hotel setting. Family, couples and singles. Decent beach. Moped rentals nearby and reasonable. Even got a pizza within walking distance up the street. People very friendly and helpful. Other than a taxi from the airport, and the mopeds for the afternoon Used local buses. I would go back with no problems... Snorkel or scuba diving was awesome.

Oceania Properties: Bahamas Luxury Villas

by tamcor

I stayed in a luxury villa at Oceania Properties in the Bahamas. It was the most romantic setting, our own private paradise. An incredible ocean view of the ocean with its white sandy beaches are a spectacular sight. Just fifteen minutes to George Town, and five minutes to Emerald Bay, it's in a great location.

Large terraces with panoramic ocean views

private swimming pool

Alarm system

air conditioning

wireless DSL internet

Full kitchens

Tennis and fitness center

Access to Four Season’s spa and Greg Norman designed golf course

next to a bird sanctuary

Breezes Bahamas: All Inclusive Resort

by Robbie330

we stayed at Breezes Bahamas - making this the first time i stayed at one of these all-inclusive resorts. i have to admit i had some doubts, especially about the food, but i can say honestly the stay exceeded my expectations. the food was fine and plenty of it; the booze selection included top brands; and activities like hobie-cat sailing were awesome. the staff does try and get the guests involved in games around the pool, like trivia contests and pool volleyball and beer guzzling, but you can avoid that stuff if you want to. the beach area is so big that you can get away from the main pool area and not hear anything if you prefer a little seclusion. there's also three tennis courts and lessons available.

the best part for us was sailing the ten foot hobie cats, which were included in the price of the stay. the resort had three hobie-cats available to take out anytime we wanted. there weren't a lot of people signing up, so no long waiting list! also, the waters in the area are perfect for this kind of sailing - not too deep or too choppy, and that beautiful Caribbean turquoise color.

the all-included food was good. the resort did a pretty nice job of not presenting the exact same options for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. in the main dining room in the mornings there were two places to order an omelet the way you want it. also, lots of fresh salmon. i have to admit - the fact that we didn't have to think about where to go or what to have to eat every day gave us more time to sail and play tennis and swim and relax.
