What kind of vacation are you looking for? Adventurous? Idyllic? Something in between? Whatever your choice, you will undoubtedly find it in The Abaco Islands. Entertainment opportunities abound nestled among quaint villages and sparkling beaches. Adventure-seekers can try their hand at snorkelling, diving or world-class sailing, while romantics may enjoy relaxing by the pool or strolling through one of our many parks, beaches or colonial towns. Many hotels are adjacent to marinas, and seafaring visitors are especially welcome The Green Turtle Club is as romantic after dark as during the day!' -- Robin Leech

So Green Turtle Cay, a short 15 minute water taxi from Treasure Cay, is by far my favorite Bahamian island. Please go there! ANyways, once you get to the island (which is pretty easy by the way,) you've got to head to Sundowner's in the famous "Old Downtown" at the southernmost tip of the island. Later, head to Pineapple's just up the road. For a bit more flare and live music, the Green Turtle Club on Marsh Harbor in the middle of the island is a great option.
GTC is only 3 x 1 miles long, so you can navigate the entire island by golf cart in under an hour. If you're going to the Abacos anytime soon, look for GTC! absolutely whatever

Any tips on how to get there ( cheapest way since we are four!) either from Nassau or from Miami or Fort Lauradale. How much are water cabs or taxis from Nassau to Abacos
Thanks for any help you can provide!

There are flights and ferries to Abacos once you get to Nassau island. the flights are expensive when taking the puddle jumpers and the ferries work only on certain days like the mail boat that goes to Abaco. here is a link to the ferry schedule::::::::::::
