Pool, pool bar, both oceanfront, property extends back to the harbor. They now have locks on the doors although few people use them. Out islands of the Abacos are virtually crime - free. Air conditioned, private baths, maid service. We ended up staying here a night when our bareboat charter sloop turned out to be a P.O.C. and had to wait a day to pick up another from a different company. Lots of ambience, laid back yet genteel and very civilized.
We returned here a few days later for a Bahamian Independence Day (July 11) party with fireworks, etc. 200 people, the biggest crowd we ever saw in the Abacos. A great time was had by all. It coincided with Regatta Time in Abaco so there were competitive sailors there from all over the world (ask around for Dubai Dave if you want to find the party). Overlooks both the Atlantic on one side and Hope Town Harbor (with candy stripe lighthouse) on the other.
