Resort for entire family
This is like the Disney world of Nassau. Very gaudy and fun. Great resort for the whole family. Lots of things to do. Good service and excellent food, although very expensive.
Unique Quality: The amazing number of pools and lagoons are one of the main features. There are water slides and lazy river rides and rides through tunnels surrounded by sharks. The beach is beautiful and there are secluded areas as well. Some of the older James Bond movies were filmed here.

I have heard that you can use the facilities at Atlantis for $30.00 per person. Is this true? Thanks for the info.

The only people that can use the facilities at Atlantis are the paying guests. Everyone is given a bracelet to wear during their stay and they are changed to a different color everyday for security purposes. You can take a tour of part of the grounds and that costs about 30 dollars. That is only a guided tour and no use of the amenities.Any further questions, I will be glad to try and answer them for you. We have stayed their many times.

I forgot to mention that if you stay at the Comfort Suites across the street from Atlantis, you can also use the facilities at Atlantis.

i stayed in atlantis for a week and never changed the bracelet.

Well then you must not have turned in your towel and gotten a fresh one every morning. They won't issue you fresh towels without changing the bracelet color everyday.

You can pay to see the exhibits and grounds. Strolling through the hotel is free, as is going to the shopping areas and using the restaurants, and gambling at the casino. We didn't stay at the Atlantis but we did pay to see the exhibits and stuff. You do get a bracelet to wear when you pay.
